a 1936 documentary about the dangers of a new drug - marijuana. A local principal tells the PTA a story of a woman named Mary who lives in Brooklyn, NY. and sells pot to hooligans and juvenile delinquents. Originally called - Tell Your Children, the film explains that marijuana is more dangerous than heroin and other class one narcotics. Over the years, the film has become a cult favorite and is shown at colleges everywhere as a satire. This is one government funded movie that both the government & producers would probably like to forget, because of the extreme innacuracy the film portrayed about marijuana. Marijuana became illegal shortly after the release of this pathetic film. |
