This is the U.S. remake of the Japanese horror film Chakushin Ari (2003). And is similar in nature to other Japanese movies of the same genre. Most notably The Ring. But there are enough differences in the movie that it is still unique and an enjoyable picture.

In this movie, certain people start receiving voice mails from themselves in the near future. Including the date, time and spotty details of their impending deaths.

This one will grab a hold of you from the start and won't let go. It may even make you 2nd guess your decision to ever have purchased a cell phone at all. At the very least, it will certainly make you cringe, when someone wants to add your name and number to their friends list.

Evil comes in many shapes and sizes. This particular evil comes courtesy of an asthmatic little girl who likes to give her victims candy when she has been especially naughty. A little girl who was attempting to make one last call for help, while she laid dying. One Missed Call, is Super Natural Technology in its evilest form.

Does it really capture the way its sounds when you die??? Watch it and you tell me. I'd like to think not. This was a good movie, it made good use of its cut in and quick-time effects. It gets a Thumb Up
