Subject: Jimmy cracked corn & I don`t care

 I usually keep my political opinions to myself, but I feel I must respond to the email that was forwarded to me recently. Unfortunatly I don`t recall the author because I deleted it, but I believe it was a woman from Atlanta, if my memory serves me correct.

The author of that email seems to have her facts twisted by mixing the situation in Iraq with September 11, 2001. What`s going on in Iraq right now has nothing to do with the war on terror, Osama Bin Laden, 9/11, or Al Qaeda.

In 2003 the Bush administration accused Saddam Hussien of stock piling weapons of mass distruction & harboring Al Qaeda operatives. Bush began threatening Iraq with military action & the United Nations told the Bush administration to back off & let them handle it.

The U.N. is the governing authority for all nations in which we as members must comply & abide with their rulings. The Bush Administration ignored the U.N.`s demands & invaded Iraq anyway. The official reason for the invasion was

1. Weapons of mass destruction.

2. Harboring Al Qaeda operatives.

Saddam sudmitted a 12.000 page report explaining that they do not have any weapons of mass destruction, & all such materials were destroyed in 1991. Three years later. We now know that Saddam was telling the truth,

THERE WERE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION!

Even worse, to this very day there is absolutely no viable evidence that Iraq was harboring Al Qaeda operatives! In fact, after further review we`ve learned that Saddam Hussien doesn`t even like Al Qaeda nor Osama Bin Laden.

The acts of violence occuring in Iraq today are not linked to Al Qaeda, they are the result our democratic society disrupting their cultures & trying to force our western ways of living on them.

How can we expect other countries to abide by international law & the U.N., when we don`t even do so? What kind of example have we set for the rest of the world by ignoring the U.N. & invading another country on claims that turned out to be false.

WE WERE WRONG FOR INVADING IRAQ & WE HAD NO RIGHT TO DO SO!

It`s true that Saddam needed to be dealt with, but we went about it the wrong way. Iraq is in a civil war & will probably never recover thanks to our illegal actions. This conflict in Iraq is an illegal war & George W. Bush should be impeached & put on trial right along side Saddam & charged with war crimes & violating U.N. sanctions.

You can`t walk through the streets of Baghdad

anymore without being kidnapped, tortured, or blown up thanks to us.

Infact over 50.000 iraqi civilians have died since we invaded in 2003. As far as September 11, 2001, The Bush Administration had forewarning of an imminemt terrorist attack & rather than do his job of protecting the american people, he chose to ignore the warnings & go on vacation. THAT`S RIGHT FOLKS, WE KNEW IT WAS COMING!!!

If we really wanted Bin Laden, we would have had him by now. You don`t lose track of one of the wealthiest men in the world especially when Osama & Bush Sr. worked together 20 years ago. What most people seem to forget is that Bush is an oil man & wants to put a pipeline through Afganistan. Are we in Iraq & Afganistan for a war on terror, or for oil?

If you disagree with me, I highly suggest you do some research on this & I guarantee you`ll see what I`m saying. If that woman in Alanta refuses to educate herself & want`s to get defensive (like most people seem to do), Well let me quote her own words. "JIMMY CRACKED CORN & I DON`T CARE!"
